Some Things to Do in Cleveland, Ohio in This Year

Located on the shores of Lake Erie in northeast Ohio, Cleveland is a lively city known for its excellent cuisine, urban greenery and great museums. It is one of the largest cities in the Midwest and, as such, offers all visitors a variety of attractions and sights.

If you are traveling to Cleveland and you don’t know how to spend your time in the city, we have you covered. I’m going to tell you about the best things to do in Cleveland, from the fascinating natural monuments of the city to the most bizarre museums.

The best things to do in Cleveland, Ohio

Cleveland’s attractions are as diverse as its culinary scene. The city has everything from iconic nineteenth-century buildings to sandy beaches, so there is something for everyone. Whether your idea of a fun trip to Cleveland involves getting to know its traditions and culture or exploring the best Bars and Restaurants, I have a lot of suggestions on places to visit.

1. visit the Cleveland Museum of Natural History

Located on the west side of Wade Oval, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History is one of the best and most popular museums in the city. Come here if you are interested in the flora and fauna of Cleveland and Northern Ohio and how they have changed over the years.

The museum’s collection is extensive and includes everything from fossils to geological discoveries. This is a great museum to visit if you want to learn more about the history of the region. It is also a very fun museum to visit even with children who are often delighted with the huge dinosaur skeletons.

This museum is also home to the Perkins Wildlife Center in the museum garden, where you can watch wild animals roam the sprawling grounds. A planetarium and an observatory are also located at the Cleveland Museum.

2. Stand in the middle of Cleveland’s public square

Cleveland Public Square is a large public square in the city center. It has statues, a small green park and a beautiful view of the surrounding skyscrapers. Most of the best hotels in the city are located near the Plaza, and if you plan to stay at a mid-range or high-end hotel in the city, you are probably in this area.

The square hosts many outdoor events in the city. An ice rink is installed there in winter, while a paddling pool allows residents and visitors to cool off during the warmer months. There is not much to do here on a normal working day, but if you find yourself in Cleveland when there is an event in the public square, it is worth coming here and seeing how radically everything changes.

3. visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Rock & Roll is my favorite musical genre, so I wasn’t surprised that it was my favorite thing in Cleveland. Come here to see the best exhibition in the world on the history of Rock and Roll music with some iconic souvenirs. From Michael Jackson’s thriller jacket to Kurt Cobain’s guitar, the Hall of Fame is a must for any music lover.
